Lapdog Events

Privacy

Last updated June 2026.

Lapdog is a free, independent tool for running races and time trials, made by Limestone Labs LLC. This page explains what we store and why.

What we store

  • Your organizer account: a user ID and email from your sign-in provider (Clerk, via Google or Apple).
  • Events you create: name, sport, date, location, and who you share them with.
  • Roster / entrant data: names, categories, teams, bibs, and emails you import (from BikeReg, a spreadsheet, etc.) or that people submit through your public sign-up form.
  • Timing data: lap times and results you record during an event.
  • Raw import and submission payloads: kept in encrypted object storage so an import can be reprocessed or recovered without re-fetching.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data or your entrants' data.
  • We do not use it for advertising or train AI models on it.
  • We never receive or store your BikeReg password; it is used once, in the moment of import, and discarded.

Entrant data

If you run an event, you are responsible for the entrant information you import or collect, and for telling your entrants how it is used. Lapdog stores it on your behalf so you can run the event. Deleting the event deletes its entrants, roster, forms, submissions, and timing data.

Your control

You can delete any event at any time, which permanently removes everything tied to it. To delete your whole account and all data, see Data deletion.
